I have struggled with sleep for as long as I can remember. Recently I stumbled across the Rise Sleep app which has provided me with the tools that I desperately needed to get my sleep under control.

Here is a list of the tools that were most impactful in my journey to correct my sleep:

Sleep Tracking

Now of course this is an obvious one, but after trying and failing to get the results that I was looking for from the free offerings on my iPhone, I had to mention this key functionality.

Rise acquires the sleep data that already exists on your phone and analysis that data to estimate your sleep debt and make a recommendation on your specific sleep need.

I paired the app up with my Garmin Instinct app and it amazed me at how accurate it calculated my needs.

Energy Schedule

The second feature that I found very useful is the energy schedule. This schedule gives you a nice visual of what you can expect your sleep routine to look like. It give a nice visual of things like:

  • Melatonin Window
  • Recommended Bed Time
  • Custom Alarm Clock Features
  • Circadian Rhythm breakdown

These are just to name a few and there are many more customizations that you can make to this schedule.

Habit Reminder

The habit reminder section is amazing, and I believe was the best feature that I needed to get into my new sleep rhythm.

There are a ton of habits that you can set reminders for, along with detailed explanations of how and why you may want to implement them.

The melatonin window reminder has helped me consistently fall asleep within 15 minutes of turning in for the night

Closing
